Prof. (Dr.) Rupak Singla is a distinguished Pulmonologist, Academician, Researcher, and Medical Educator with over 38 years of experience in respiratory medicine, tuberculosis, and public health. He served as Professor and Head, Department of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases at the National Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases (NITRD), New Delhi.

An internationally recognized expert in tuberculosis, Dr. Singla has been a technical member of several national and international committees involved in the development and revision of Government of India and WHO guidelines for the management of tuberculosis and multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB). He has also contributed to national guidelines on bronchoscopy, asthma, COPD, spirometry, nebulisation, and other respiratory diseases.

A highly respected clinician, Dr. Singla is widely consulted for the management of complex and drug-resistant tuberculosis cases. He has authored more than 135 peer-reviewed scientific publications in leading national and international journals and is a regular faculty member at major scientific conferences, pulmonary function testing programs, and tuberculosis workshops.

His areas of expertise include drug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB), pulmonary function testing (PFT), COPD, asthma, interstitial lung diseases (ILD), bronchoscopy, and the comprehensive management of complex respiratory disorders.
